Yang Prong Cham Tower (Great God) also known as Green Forest Cham Tower is a Cham tower in Ea Rok commune, Ea Sup district, Dak Lak province, about 15 km from Ea Sup town, about 100 km from Buon Ma Thuot city.

Built in the 13th century under the reign of King Jaya Simhavarman III (King Che Man)
Yang Prong marks the revival of Champa's soul roots on the level of cultural and human identity. This resurrection point is also close to the end or change in the tenure of the heavenly messenger - the one who comes from the Hindu spiritual lineage and is responsible for building and supporting the Cham people for more than 10 centuries (who is worshiped inside the Yang Prong tower).
Approximately from the 2nd to the 12th century, Champa had Hindu influence and built its nation according to its Hindu cultural spiritual identity.
In the 13th century, the Yang Prong indigo tower was built to worship the god Siva, the god symbolizing the proliferation of the race and prosperity and happiness according to the beliefs of the Cham people. Previously, Siva was the god of destruction or omnipotence (creation, preservation, destruction) according to Hindu beliefs.

During the reign of Jaya Simhavarman III, the speedy conquest of the Mongol Yuan army threatened to devour the entire land of Champa and Dai Viet but ultimately failed. One of the main reasons contributing to that failure was the appearance of a very powerful spiritual force on earth at the same time that came to protect this land. These are brothers and companions from Indonesia - the spiritual lineage of Islam.
Also around this time, from the 13th to 16th centuries Champa fell into a crisis of conflicting ideologies between "ancient Cham people" and "new Cham people". Later, Champa formed two large groups: the Cham Ahier (Cham influenced by Brahmanism) and the Awal (Cham influenced by Islam), these two groups had ideological conflicts. However, internal misunderstandings have also been greatly reconciled thanks to the healing efforts of the people and the understanding spirit of the kings in civilized and just domestic policies that can be said to surpass the era. Champa in this period was official "revive" by work "localization" spiritual identities, human identities from old to new, regardless of whether they are imported or found.
Ahier or Awal both have the same spiritual origin once known as Nuhamamu - the spiritual lineage of one of the first 12 originators sent by God to build the earth.
The ethnic group is unified, but the elite cannot be liberated largely because customs, traditions, and ideologies dominate and divide people, as well as pressure from neighboring wars... just like that, in the 18th century, the Champa kingdom ended its historical role.
However, the role of harmony and responsibility to contribute to building peace on earth for the Cham people, for Vietnam, for all ethnic groups in the world, and for us is still there.
"Humanity is of the same essence".
